Abbey Dore Pressure Washing – Heritage Valley Specialists

Abbey Dore requires a specialist approach due to the exceptional heritage value of many properties. We've cleaned surfaces that are literally centuries old, from abbey stonework to medieval flagging. High-pressure jet washing would be completely inappropriate here – instead, we use soft washing techniques at very low pressure, often below 500 PSI, combined with gentle cleaning solutions designed for historic masonry. The local stone weathers beautifully but does accumulate biological growth in the damp valley conditions. We always discuss our approach with property owners before starting, as many have specific requirements from conservation officers or architect recommendations. For more modern properties in the area – and there are some newer builds along the lanes – we can use conventional pressure washing, but Abbey Dore is predominantly a 'soft wash' job for us. The results are excellent and appropriate for the setting.
